1 in 3 women globally experience violence. In the US, 81% of women and 43% of men have experienced sexual harassment or assault in their lifetime. In Cambodia and Vietnam, more than 3 in 4 women experience harassment and sexual remarks. Many of them live in fear and silence for years because of the abuser’s manipulation, the social taboos and victim blaming issues.
